Museum-Quality Ketubah Prints and Chuppah Works |
We want your ketubah and chuppah to outlive you -- to be
a family heirloom treasured by your great-grandchildren. For this reason, we use
the most archival materials available for giclée printing.
We use a pH-neutral, acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper that
-- if kept away from fire, mildew and moths -- will last indefinitely. We use
pigmented inks that have been tested to last well over 100 years without any apparent
fading. (The tests are still in progress.) Also, of course, displaying your ketubah
behind UV-protective glass or Plexiglas will greatly extend the fade resistance
of these inks.
We have taken similar steps and applied these principles
to the printing of our chuppot. (Currently, there are no definitive studies on
the fade-resistance of the pigmented ink-silk combination we use.)
