Think about it.
You meet someone special, fall in love and decide to get
married. You plan a big
wedding or a small one. Invite everyone you've ever known or just your family
and close friends. Whichever way you go, you plan on it being one of the most
joyous days of your life.
Why not choose a ketubah (wedding contract) that will always
remind you of the fun you had on your wedding day? Besides, isn't that what marriage
is all about? You know -- joy, fun, celebration. (Of course, you shouldn't forget
about commitment and responsibility, but you'll have plenty of phone bills and
dirty diapers to remind you of those!)
So much of Judaic art is dedicated to tradition and the
ancient symbolism of our heritage. There is little modernism involved in Judaica.
It's about time there is.
Our ketubah STUDIO line offers ketubah designs
that are new, bold and definitely different from everything else out there. We
cater to people who want something unique but don't want to pay the incredible
cost to have something custom-made for themselves. (Although we can do that too!
See “Fine Art.”)

Being on a budget shouldn't mean settling for a basic ketubah
(wedding contract).
Our ketubah 4less collection offers limited-edition,
museum-quality ketubah prints to couples who want first-class quality at an affordable
price.
How do we do it?
We are the sole producers and distributors of our ketubot.
We don't buy ketubot from other artists and resell them. We don't pay a printing
company to print lithographs for us. We also have set up our production process
efficiently, to keep costs as low as possible without sacrificing quality.
And, we only sell direct to the end user -- that would be
you – via our Web site. We don't have sales, offer any discounts, or sell
through resellers who will want a cut. We sell directly to you at the lowest
price we possibly can.
If price is a consideration, we have a ketubah 4less
ketubah for you.

Each ceremony is special. Shouldn't this be reflected in
every detail… including your chuppah?
In 1999, while searching for a chuppah (wedding canopy)
for their wedding, Micah and his bride-to-be, Mindy, became aware of the lack
of options available in the chuppah market.
Choices ranged from affordable, plain white chuppot to custom
chuppot that cost thousands of dollars, with relatively nothing in between the
two.
The couple decided to use the resources already in place
for Micah's other Judaic art endeavors to create their own chuppah. A few months
after the honeymoon, the e-chuppah line was launched to bridge
the gap between the plain and the custom chuppah markets.

Circle of love II

At MP Artworks, our philosophy is “Art for Love and Life,” and
this motto is what drives our expansion into fine art.
Were you torn between two (or more) favorites while choosing your ketubah?
Not getting married, but love the art? Looking for a unique gift or the perfect
Judaica to commemorate a special occasion or “just because”?
Art shouldn’t be reserved for once-in-a-lifetime celebrations. Make
it a part of each and every day. (Trust us, everything seems just little bit
better when you’re surrounded by beautiful things!)
Why start a fine art line?
You asked for it! We are best-known for creating unique, personal ketubot
that are also beautiful works of art. Some of our happy couples loved designs
in addition to the ketubot they selected, and others wanted smaller copies to
give as gifts to their loved ones. And then, there are friends and relatives
who like our designs but aren’t in the market for a ketubah or an anniversary
ketubah. This is the result of their requests.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: “Art for Love
and Life” isn’t just a slogan. It means that fine art shouldn’t
be something reserved for museums or only brought out for special occasions.
And it’s our hope that the array of fine art options at MP Artworks will
allow more people to enjoy more beautiful things – works that are meaningful
and in formats that can be incorporated into their lives and shared with others. |
