Modern | Micah Parker

This piece combines a traditional theme with a contemporary design by featuring a chiseled glass pattern with beveled glass Jewish symbols in each of its angular silver frames. The smaller frames each represent parts of the couple's life used as the building blocks for the larger parts that signifies their life as one. The odd angles are the imperfections of human existence, but when the pieces are matted together, they strive to make a structure of perfection. The candles signify one's individual light that rises to the tablets and the Star of David is a reminder of the home that the couple will continue to build together.
